The uniqueness of our student today is the movement forward, the desire to be happy, successful and free to choose the future.
The High School project is a continuation of implementation of the NGS concept “Smarter! Stronger! Brighter! than yourself yesterday” for students in grades 9-11.

Provisional English
Considering the upcoming admission of NGS graduates to higher education institutions, the High School has created a student educational environment through a series of popular educational programs. The studied subject “Provisional English” is the foundation for academic adaptation under conditions of higher learning. The course content was developed on the basis of the Foundation program with the involvement of the teaching staff of KIMEP University.
The program includes topics necessaryfor the future student: insight into the academic aspects and language competencies of higher education, developing skills in writing a motivation letter, resume, reasoned essays, learning to cite and make clear and sound arguments. -
Mathematical Literacy
The tests of international exams and UNT include sections and themes of the subject “Mathematical Literacy”. To successfully prepare new generation graduates, the subject “Mathematical Literacy” has been introduced into the main NGS syllabus for all students in grades 10 and 11.
The discipline is aimed at developing skills in mathematical reasoning, formulating arguments and solving problems in various ways. The subject contributes to the pronounced development of logical and analytical thinking. -
Business Study
The “Business Study” syllabus was developed by NGS together with scientists from the leading business university AlmaU.
Learning goals and objectives are to develop students’ modern entrepreneurial and managerial thinking, abilities to draw up business plans, solve business problems and skills in researching modern trends and business needs and generating new ideas. The two-year program consists of 6 modules: personal finance, marketing, development of entrepreneurial thinking, startups, basics of management and self-management. -
Olympiad movement
The Olympiad movement at NGS is built on continuity, from primary school to 11th grade.
n elementary school, subject “Olympiad movement “Olympia” is studied. Experienced coaches who have a pleiad of winners in prestigious international Olympiads work at middle and high schools with subject olympiad reserves. Due to the large number of winners and desire to become part of the international olympiad movement, the school’s investors initiated a project of additional sponsorship to the NGS Olympic reserve team. -
IELTS certification
NGS is one of the first schools to develop its own IELTS syllabus for 10th grade students in collaboration with KIMEP University. Upon completion of the program, all students take IELTS examination.
The syllabus complies with the international English language grading system and consists of 4 modules:
- Listening (listening skills)
- Reading (English reading skills)
- Writing (English writing skills)
- Speaking (English speaking skills) -
Soz oneri
“Soz oneri” class begins in the middle school and, as part of continuity, is integrated into the High School curriculum.
The main features in subject content for High School are:
- Communication skills in part of the ability to think, present, persuade;
- Skills in the art of words for diplomatic, succinct, reasoned speeches;
- Focus on preparing for the final certification at school and passing the UNT.
The result of studying this subject is the ability to work with large texts, compose abstracts, and write essays.
